My boyfriend wanted to take out a loan with second chance lending and make it seem like it was all good, but then I researched them and found out that it was a fraud before he actually send them any money or anything, but the thing is this dummy already gave this his SSN and State ID!!! Do you think they will use those in a certain way? I mean he doesn’t have money or credit, but is there a way that they can still use that information against him?

I have been looking for a bad credit loan and someone (I think her name was Leena) from the above company contacted me. I tried calling them back but was unable to get a hold of them. I’m going to try again tomorrow. I just wanted to know if anyone had heard of them? I almost go scammed by Richfield Lending Group and want to make sure that I’m not going to get scammed again. Their website is www.colossuscredit.com. Thanks for all your answers…just praying no one is trying to scam me again.
Hi mzmoka84, Did they ask you for any colateral as in some money up front? I’m going to get more information from them tomorrow when I talk to them. Keep me posted on what they ask you for.

In some magazine a few years ago I saw an article about how in China groups of people gather and lend money to a communal fund. Later, all of the money is given to one of the members, and all of the members lend the same amount again to borrow to other partner. they repeat until all of them have received a loan the amount of the original fund. Where do i find information about that?.

This company also calls themselves PARKER AND SON’S FIRST CHOICE LENDING and they are a SCAM. If you have any information on this company please let us know as we have been scammed and are now trying to put them out of business. The contacts that we spoke with were LAURA PINKOWSKI, CRAIG DAVIES, AND LANGSTON BAILEY. They asked for a deposit on a personal loan and did not send our loan. If you have dealt with them or they have contacted you DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY THEY ARE A SCAM. Again any comments are welcome as we are looking to try to put them out of business.

I’m 20 years old turning 21 and I live with my parents. My girlfriend is 21 and she already has a child of her own. I have a job and I work at the hospital and my girlfriend also comes from a wealthy family, so money is not an issue. My parents on the other hand are both very religous and tend to think everything that happens now a days is crazy! Please I need help and support from anyone who can lend me information on how to break the news to my parents……please.

Uncle Ant asked:
For the most part, they do not do business ethically, nor on any terms which aren’t designed to screw the consumer. This is one big reason the housing market is upside down these days. Should laws be made to regulate this problem?
My theory is that the brokerage market became more competitive in recent times as more and more people pursued that career. I also believe the new bankruptcy laws made banks more flexible, knowing they had more of an advantage if the consumer defaulted.
I read everything before I sign. Thus both of my homes are fixed for the next 30 yrs. My issue is that there seem to be an overwhelming amount of people recently who apparently haven’t “read” everything. In fact enough people that this is causing strain on the economy due to the housing market collapsing. Apparently many people aren’t educated these days when it comes to money, but then again I think the banks should take this into account when they go handing out loans, as this only comes back and hurts both them and the consumer later anyways.
