A friend of mine said she did this a while back and she can’t remember what the origional website was called.
You put in your information and then companies bid to loan you money? Potential money lenders can see your profile and give you bids on what they will lend you?

John P asked:
I saw previous question regarding American Community Lending. There were a few people that said either themselves or co-workers were waiting on money. Did anyone actually receive any money? I’ve had recent dealings with them, but the thought of wiring/sending money to Canada for “insurance” was just too risky for me, so I backed out. If anyone has received money I’d like to know. If anyone has been scammed by them, I urge you to report them to the BBB because the rep I was dealing with, clung to the fact there were no complaints and they enjoyed an “A” rating.

How to save money has two sides – the money you bring in and the money you spend. What is left over is the savings. So, first think about how much to save, then are you bringing in (earning, making, etc) all you can and lastly track your spending for one full week. See if you have leaks in your money that you can plug up. Yes, coupons do help, eating out less does help what other ways can you plug the leak.

Chris T asked: I’m lending my friend $1000 because he needs it to pay off some debt. It’s not that I don’t trust him but just in case something happens, I think I would feel a lot safer with a contract written up..
Does anyone know the format to do this? Do I need to go to a lawyer? I don’t want to make a huge deal out of it considering this is a friend, but I would like to have a small amount of insurance in loaning this amount out.

I have a FICO score of 725 so I’m thinking if I find the right bank I could still get a home loan even in this economy, but which banks should I apply at first? I live in Northern California and want a fixed rate loan.
